99 to give 100

Last season, the H&S Tool #99 finished 8th for the season. With Mark Hillestad now having a full season "back in the saddle" after a 10 year hiatus and Barry Waddell staying fit and practiced over the off-season, the team is poised to improve on last year's results. Fresh off of testing January 8 - 10, the guys feel very optimistic about the race at Daytona (1/28 - 29) and the season. The team has enlisted some heavy-hitting engineering assistance and they have already found some additional handling and speed. Mark said, "It will be a season of 100% for me this year. I am now going back to tracks for a second time and that will be a big advantage."

Mark Hillestad Mark Hillestad, owner and president of H&S Tool, began campaigning the number 99, BMW-M3 of Automatic Racing at Daytona in January, 2009. He will co-drive a full schedule in the 2010 Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge series. No rookie, Mark was a team driver in the Rolex 24 at Daytona in 2000.

Barry Waddell Barry Waddell is the veteran in this two-man driving team. He has been either driving or coaching drivers for most of his adult life. He has stood on the podium many times over the last couple of decades. He counts NASCAR's A.J. Allmendinger as one his prize pupils (along with Mark, of course).
